Formal Visual Inspections may be required at different intervals to Combined Inspection and Testing, which include an electrical test as well as a Formal Visual Inspection. Using a Seaward Europa tester, the results are downloaded to maintain an asset register for your equipment and a label printed and attached to the appliance. The label details whether the appliance has passed or failed the test, the date of the test and the recommended due date of the next test. Each item is assigned a barcode which makes repeat PAT Testing a simple process as all test parameters and previous test results are stored alongside the asset register. Any minor faults will be repaired and retested and any damage reported to the person responsible.
